Universal Music Group, one the largest music corporations in the world, will finally introduce its first K-Pop group ‘Boys Republic’ in the local market next month.On May 28th, the group’s official Facebook uploaded a new photo, announcing their official debut on June 5 with first single titled, “Party Rock”.Boys Republic is made up of 5 members Wonjun, Dabin, Soowong, Sungjoon and Minsoo. The group is said to have enlisted the help of one of Korea’s top producer and composer Park Geun Tae, and Europe’s best composing team Dsign Music for their debut.

This sounds interesting. Universal Music is probably one of the most established brands in the industry globally, and them backing up the debut of a group must mean they’ve invested a lot in this group.
It isn’t the first time though that groups outside of Korea have attempted to build Kpop groups. One of the most notable attempts was with the debut of Rania a couple of years ago, under the guidance of Teddy Riley.

Universal Music Group, one the largest music corporations in the world, will finally introduce its first K-Pop group ‘Boys Republic’ in the local market next month.
